Heier has made renovations which included a new register system which will allow for orders to be placed on the Dairy Queen app and earn rewards, a new cola-free style machine, new grill, new friers, new ice cream machine, and new indoor digital menu boards.

Heier is also looking to bring a community focus and positivity to the store.

The Dell Rapids store is the eighth Dairy Queen for Heier.  He also owns stores in Hartford, Vermillion, Winner, Martin, Pierre, Eagle Butte, and Mobridge.
